This private room offers a Queen bed & 2 spacious Twin XL bunked beds. It’s a cheery room tucked up into the house's original master bedroom - on the second floor. The Private Quad serves as a private room for 1 to 4 guests. It has a full size closet and each sleep space includes a USB port with LED reading light. Groups of 5 might consider annexing our Single Private room next door. The hostel’s third full bath is conveniently located nearby.
*Those hoping to avoid stairs are encouraged to consider booking a ground-floor mixed dorm bed as a cost effective alternative.

Staff was more than helpful in providing recommendations, saying hi, keeping the place clean, and being human. The house was very clean all around. Cozy and comfy! Great location! Everything you could need, even bikes to use!!
“Absolutely loved it here”
The house was amazing and the owners were extremely friendly. The location is perfect and is really close to a few great places to eat. The house has free wifi and computers available for use, as well as a full kitchen. If I'm ever back in Missoula this will definitely be where I stay.
“Beautiful Space”
Shady Spruce is comfortable, laid-back, respectful, and all around put together. This hostel puts in the extra effort to make you feel comfortable. There are small amenities all over the place to make you feel at home (e.g. extra change lying around for parking meters, complimentary ear plugs, several computers set up with wifi). The kitchen spaces are wonderfully designed and it was a pleasure to cook my own meals here. Please come support this great space in Missoula!
